hundred and twenty-three countries who have joined at this very prestigious

event and I'd like to place on record our sincerest appreciation for Indus Food

and the Ministry of Food Processing for having curated this entire experience

that each one of us over the last three days has been a part of. In fact if you

if there's one language that the whole world speaks fluently I think it's food

and it is never difficult despite language barriers, despite different

cultures, different cuisines, not at all difficult to enjoy each other's food,

enjoy each other's offerings, understand what is on the table and this is one

language that India speaks very fluently and in many dialects. We all of us in

India love food, all of us in India love the variety of different recipes that

are available literally in every part of the country and I think the success of

this edition which I believe is Asia's largest food and beverage trade fair is

truly a matter of great satisfaction for all of us in the government of India. I'd

like to place on record my appreciation also for Abhishek Dey of APEDA who's

leading our international exposure and effort to grow the India story worldwide.

Last year we did about 50 billion dollars of exports from India and APEDA

which looks after agriculture and MPEDA which looks after marine. Both of them

have played a very important role in making this happen but then just like

the stomach is hungry for more, the commerce ministry or any country is

hungry for greater achievements and I do hope to see a three-digit mark, a

hundred billion dollar mark in our food, beverages and marine product, agri and

marine product exports in the
