00:00This year, the rehabilitation of the Department of Public Works and Highways in the whole of EDSA will begin.

00:06This is also in accordance with the order of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.

00:11In an interview yesterday in Bagong Pilipinas Ngayon, DPWH Secretary Manuel Bonoan said

00:17that the President wants to have a better journey in the so-called primary land

00:23and target of the so-called rehabilitation project to resolve the long-standing problem of traffic.

00:30It is expected that the rehabilitation will be completed this year as well.

00:34Aside from EDSA rehabilitation, DPWH also expects that the bridge that will connect

00:40to Zamboanga Peninsula and Olotanga Island will also be completed.

00:43This is also what CCLEX said.

00:46What the President wants is that we have to improve the riding quality of EDSA.

00:52We will rehabilitate the entire EDSA starting 2025.

00:58Because now, when you go to EDSA, sometimes it's hard to text.

01:04Because of the speed of the vehicle.

01:09So I think it's about time that we need to rehabilitate EDSA once and for all.
