00:00The Department of Education Secretary, Sunny Angara, highlighted the need for public-private partnerships, or PPPs,

00:07to address classroom shortages and improve digitalization in education.

00:12The DEPED plans to build 15,000 classrooms by 2027 through the PPP School Infrastructure Project, or PSIP3,

00:22benefiting over 600,000 students and creating 18,000 jobs.

00:27The project will cost between Php 37 to Php 0.5 billion and Php 60 billion, with future plans to expand the initiative.

00:37Secretary Angara also emphasized digital plans including providing tablets, laptops, and internet access to schools,

00:45aiming for a future-ready education system.
