00:00Dakar Future Mission 1000 is a challenge more than a proper rally, but at the end of the

00:07Dakar, a winner is crowned based on a point system.

00:11The Dakar Future Mission 1000 is a challenge for technology.

00:15There is no time according to the race and time for the competitors.

00:20It's really a challenge in order to evaluate the technology and the project.

00:24The main objective is to finish the 100 kilometers on a daily basis.

00:29And if you don't finish 100% of this stage, you will only get the percentage that you've

00:35done of this stage in terms of points.

00:40In addition, we also monitor performance, autonomy and awareness.

00:46Performance by launch control, which is a sprint on 200 meters where we will assess

00:51the speed and performance of each of the projects.

00:54Autonomy, which is comparison to the reference time, how long projects will have taken to

01:00complete the stage.

01:03Then awareness via the fan boost, where we will ask social media and fans of Dakar to

01:09vote for their favorite project.

01:10So, finishing the stage meeting, doing 100% of the stage will give a total of 10 points.

01:24Then the autonomy based on the reference time, if in eco mode, no bonus points.

01:29If in the reference time, meaning normal mode, 5 bonus points.

01:33And if 10% faster than the reference time, 10 bonus points.

01:37The fan boost then will give 10 bonus points for the fan's favorite project.

01:42And the launch control will give 10 bonus points for the fastest project.

01:47After the first stages, the hydrogen truck of Giorgi Giovantini leads the way.

01:52Here are the standings of stage 2 with the different points gained by all the competitors,

01:57most of them having covered the 100 kilometers of the course.
