01:13Now, the Cowboys don't have to allow that, but if they don't re-sign him by January the

01:1914th, Mike McCarthy could talk to whoever he wants.

01:24That is what the Bears have allegedly done.

01:26Now, the Bears are also one of these teams we mentioned last hour.

01:29They're basically interviewing anyone in the world like the Jets.

01:32The Bears have put in 1,000 requests for 1,000 people, but that's the first one, Joe, I've

01:36seen involving Mike McCarthy with the Dallas Cowboys.

01:40Yeah, and you got to wonder, okay, interview with the Chicago Bears, but the Bears are

01:49another team that are interviewing anybody with a pulse right now, so why not Mike McCarthy?

01:55And you know, there's a lot of hand-waving, who knows who the agents who represent McCarthy,

02:00what kind of influence do they have in the building in Chicago.

02:04Hey, could you say or release and tell everyone that you're asking for an interview?

02:10It's to me, that's a great leverage move for Mike McCarthy, which will kind of be, hey,

02:16listen, Cowboys, don't hold on to him, don't give him a contract, and let him miss out

02:20on the next hiring cycle.

02:22So it sounds to me like somebody's trying to force the hand of the Cowboys here and

02:26make a decision sooner rather than later.

02:29Yeah, I could absolutely see that.

02:33So Jerry and Steven and the crew, they're going to have to pow-wow here, because that

02:37news will come out quickly, Cowboys denied the Bears from talking to them.
