00:38but still backed by 2 million bucks per season behind Justin

00:42Jefferson. And I think CD Lamb has every right to argue. He

00:45should be paid like Justin Jefferson. He is as prolific as

00:50Justin Jefferson, a fellow first round draft pick in the 2020

00:54NFL draft. So Donnie, do you put any stake into what Jerry

00:58is saying that they're having quote promising talks with CD

01:01Lamb's representation? Like I mean, you had like six to eight

01:05months at this point to have those promising talks and CD

01:08Lamb. This is what I love about the Dallas Cowboys to is it's

01:10very rare that I come on because I'll look at Jamar Chase in

01:12Cincinnati and say if he doesn't show up in week number

01:15one, you still got T Higgins. You still got borough. It's

01:17like, you know what they could probably manage here. You take

01:24one, you know, they'll probably be fine and they can certainly

01:26manage like I feel like CD Lamb has such a leveraged position

01:31with the Dallas Cowboys because honestly, and I understand one

01:34player doesn't make an entire season, but I feel like CD Lamb

01:37shows up. You pencil them in for 10 wins on the season. You

01:41pencil them in for fighting the Philadelphia Eagles with the

01:43NFC East championship and maybe winning a playoff game or two,

01:46which you know, winning two of those is pretty unlikely, but

01:49you feel me on this. If he doesn't show up week number one,

01:52why does it feel like the Cowboys are a seven win football

01:54team? It just feels that way. Like if I'm CD Lambs management,

01:57I go, you know what? I told you I wanted Justin Jefferson money.

02:00Now, I want Dak Prescott money at this point and I feel like

02:02it's almost like the Cowboys have to pay him like for one

02:05outside of just like Patrick Mahomes not showing up. We

02:08understand or even like Dak Prescott because the quarterbacks

02:10we know is certainly more important than other positions

02:12on the field. But if you just say CD Lamb takes the lady on

02:15Bell strategy, I'm just not playing this year. It feels

02:18like all hope is lost for the Dallas Cowboys. They better

02:21pay him and pay him a lot and pay him sooner than later to

02:24get him back in that lineup.
