00:00Filipino Q artist Rodolfo Luat shared the story of how he became the greatest pool player of all time, Efren Bata-Reyes.

00:16Before Filipinos got to know the greatest pool player of all time, Efren Bata-Reyes,

00:22he was the first to show his skills in the 1970s.

00:25According to billiard legend Rodolfo Luat, who is also a member of the Angeles City Pampanga,

00:29they met in Manila because his cousin owns a pool house in Avenida.

00:34This is where they met to compete in various competitions inside and outside the country.

00:41In the 1970s, Efren was very good.

00:44Now, in the 1990s, he's also good.

00:49But in the 1970s, he was really good.

00:51He never lost.

00:52From 1976 until 2010.

00:56In 1993, we competed in Las Vegas.

01:00Efren, our partner, Christos Cubustamante, Leonardo Ondag, and me.

01:11Then, we went to America, England, Poland, Taiwan, and Japan.

01:21Aside from the national achievements of Luat, Reyes, and Cubustamante,

01:26Boyd Samson also won the 2006 WPA Asia 9-Bowl Tour Taiwan League,

01:322008 Manny Villar Cup 9-Bowl Open, and many more.

01:37We have a passion for our youth.

01:42We don't have time to waste.

01:45We're still young.

01:47Maybe that's why our youth envies us.
