00:00The Dacong Linganay, the largest church bell in Southeast Asia, was again sounded.

00:06This is the center of the news of Floyd Bretz.

00:10The local church and people, after the 6th day of the church night,

00:15were shocked by the sound of the bell called the Dacong Linganay.

00:19The big bell has a height of 5 floors and a width of 7 floors.

00:25It weighs 10,400 kilograms or 10.4 metric tons.

00:31According to the community, the bell was recorded in its place

00:35since it was first installed and has not yet been removed.

00:38This is with 8 smaller bells.

00:41The Dacong Linganay is not just a house, it is a treasure for us.

00:46It is a symbol of a nice heritage, of course.

00:50It continues to reach the past, the present,

00:53and promoting cultural appreciation and boosting our municipalities' tourism.

00:58The Santa Monica Church, the home of the bell,

01:01was declared as a National Historical Landmark

01:04by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines or NHCP.

01:08The Dacong Linganay, as an important cultural icon of Capiz,

01:12reflects the richness of our country in the field of tourism, culture, and tradition.
