Ibu Rubi's isn't just a restaurant,

it's a tribute to the woman who inspired its founder, Haji Muhammad Imran, to open this place.

I spent a lot of time with her in the kitchen,

and she imparted quite a few of her recipes that I carried with me until this day.

She was an amazing chef, and so to honor her legacy,

I decided to create a restaurant named after her, Ibu Rubi's,

that took some of her best recipes and bring them to the world.
