00:00You might have heard that Santa Claus lives all the way in the North Pole.

00:12But did you know that the jolly old fella has a representative in Malaysia?

00:17One man from Penang has officially represented Santa Claus for over 20 years now.

00:23And he has the certification to prove it.

00:27Rudolf has an Associate of Arts in Santa Clausology from the International University of Santa Claus in the US.

00:35He taught me everything about what you need to be Santa, how you need to be yourself, how you don't put on.

00:42When you're Santa Claus, when you're in a proper suit, you represent a father figure.

00:50Rudolf was thrown into this role by accident after his mother needed an emergency Santa for a party in 1998.

00:58Bringing joy to children touched him so much that he started doing it every year.

01:04Rudolf loves seeing the smiles on people's faces when he greets them.

01:09In this suit, they want me to carry the baby.

01:13This is how crazy adults get.

01:16They're not childish. They become childlike again.

01:20And that is beautiful.

01:23That is just beautiful.

01:25It's so nice to see people happy.

01:27That's why I love bringing joy and happiness to people. That's all I'm doing.

01:30Rudolf believes that no matter how old you are, there's always room in your heart for Christmas cheer.
