00:00PAS has set up a donation drive to help the party's Kepala Batas MP, Siti Mastura Muhammad,

00:06pay RM825,000 in damages and costs after losing a defamation suit earlier this month.

00:13In an internal letter cited by FMT, PAS Secretary-General Takiuddin Hassan said the party's top leadership

00:19has decided that everyone must support the jihad donation drive for Siti Mastura.

00:25The letter said Central Committee members and PAS branches must each contribute at least

00:30RM500 while state chapters are required to contribute RM20,000 each.

00:36Takiuddin said Siti Mastura was only fulfilling her responsibility as a PAS leader when she

00:41made the remarks during the Kemaman Bayi election campaign.

00:46On December 4th, Siti Mastura lost a defamation case brought by DAP veteran Lim Kit Siang,

00:51his son Guan Eng, and Seputut MP Teresa Kok over her claims linking them to the late

00:56Communist Party of Malaya leader, Chin Peng.

01:00The Georgetown High Court ordered her to pay RM300,000 to Kit Siang, RM250,000 to Guan

01:06Eng, and RM200,000 to Kok, as well as another RM25,000 in costs to each of the trio.
