How do you make the most of Christmas leftovers? We ask Birmingham locals for their go-to recipes and creative ideas for reducing food waste during the festive season. Are there traditional leftover dishes they look forward to every year?

00:00For us we usually bring, for Christmas we have just a close family together and on Boxing

00:09Day we bring everyone in.

00:10So that's how we use up the leftovers we've cooked on that day.

00:13We do bubble and squeak, so we do that with a little left over potato and brussel sprouts

00:19and all that.

00:20So we have that and gammon, that's usually what we do.

00:23My daughter looks after me at Christmas, so I don't have any left over questions or challenges.

00:32I do what I'm told to do, so I can't answer that question comprehensively.

00:39Basically we just eat everything, if we've got anything left over we just eat it.

00:47And there's no leftovers, because I don't think you should have leftovers, it should

00:51be, because it's a waste, people starving in the world, it's a waste.
