Do you remember your first mobile?

We’re asking the people of Cardiff whether they remember the first mobile they ever had.

00:00Like a house brick, yeah, where you pull the aerial up and all that,

00:03and then rubber cases are on the floor and they bounce back at you.

00:06And, yeah, yes. Yeah.

00:07They've come a long way, haven't they? They have, yes, yes.

00:10And a lot of people don't like them, but they can't be a godsend.

00:14Like, I went to Swansea the other day to visit my family,

00:16and they're always worried about on the motorway and things.

00:19They're brilliant sat-nav. Yeah.

00:22Mine, I think, was like a Motorola, a Samsung Motorola.

00:25I remember that quite vividly.

00:26Cos, yeah, a lot of people at this time, like, iPhones,

00:29like, quite big, you know, like, they're growing up.

00:31And, yeah, I had a Motorola, so I can remember it quite vividly.

00:33Everyone used to say, oh, you've got a Motorola, and I was like, yeah.

00:36But it was... It did its job, I guess, you know.

00:38It worked, you know, you could call, and eventually, you know, I upgraded.

00:42Um, no, it wasn't actually... It was one of those flipped ones,

00:46obviously, with the snake in it. There's memories there.

00:49But, yeah, I actually loved that phone, and then, um...

00:52And then I finally moved on, you know, and I got my iPhone, which is here.
