Would you go for a meal by yourself?

With an uptake in solo-dining over the last few years, we ask people in Cardiff whether they’d go out by themselves for a meal.

00:13So, yeah, I think that it's nice to do so,

00:19I don't. I'm not going to lie. I've got a girlfriend,

00:21so if I'm going out, I'm probably going with her.

00:23However, I would like the idea of it,

00:25because it means you don't have to wait for anyone else to order,

00:28you don't have to wait for everybody else to finish their meal,

00:31you can just go, go, go.

00:34So maybe I'll start.

00:36No chance.

00:39No, I'd text my sister.

00:41I would never go in without a meal or a pub, I mean...

00:44No, social character.

00:46So the main restaurant in Albany Road that I go to is the Empire Balti.

00:51Invariably, I'm with my wife or other people.

00:54There were 23 of us last Monday, so that'll sum up.

00:57That'll sum up that I don't do much on my own.
