00:00Hello, I am Cole Webley, the director of Omaha, which is premiering in competition at the

00:12U.S. dramatic category of the 2025 Sundance Film Festival.

00:18Omaha is set against the backdrop of the 2008 economic crisis and tells the story of a struggling

00:25father who takes his kids on a road trip across the American West.

00:29Our dad, played by the amazing John Magaro, delivers an examination on grief, love, and

00:38vulnerability.

00:39This is a film about fatherhood.

00:41I've been a dad for a very long time, and at the heart of that role, I think all we

00:48ever want is what's best for our kids.

00:51The kids are played by an incredible performance from Molly Bell Wright and Wyatt Salas, and

00:57I'm just certain you'll fall in love with this family.

01:00I have been coming to the festival for almost 20 years, since I moved to Utah.

01:06I've sat in the theater, I've been inspired by these directors and their films and their

01:12stories, and to have my first film premiere here is, it's more than a dream come true.
