00:31The charges fall under Section 41, Subsection 1 of the Road Transport Act 1987, Amendment

00:381999, which carries a jail term of five to ten years, a fine between R20,000 and R50,000,

00:46and disqualification from holding a driving license for at least five years if convicted.

00:52The accused's license was suspended from the date the charge was first read.

00:57Magistrate Noor Shaliati Mohamed Sobri granted bail at R6,500 with one surety and set January

01:0427 for case mention and document submission.
