00:32and also to guarantee the safety of the police themselves,

00:35so that they do not continue to be victims, precisely, of crime.

00:40as the government has done a great job to prevent the spread of crime.

00:44However, we still have to take more measures

00:49that are being taken to guarantee peace, stability,

00:52and the society of the Dominican Republic.

00:54We have seen that some members of the same police

00:58are also involved in these cases of murder of police officers.

01:05Well, that is practically something that we still have to continue to deepen,

01:10which is the situation of the police.

01:12Remember that we have a police force that dates back more than 80 years,

01:16and they are making a great effort to detain the police.

01:19However, there are still some who can support the work

01:22that the National Police are doing very honorably.

01:30More than 20,000 new police officers are being requested.
