Marcos honors overseas Filipinos, foreigners for contributions to PH growth
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. leads the 2024 Presidential Awards for Filipino Individuals and Organizations Overseas (PAFIOO) on Dec. 11, 2024 in recognizing outstanding achievements, humanitarian efforts and significant contributions by overseas Filipinos and foreign individuals or organizations to Philippine development. The Commission on Filipinos Overseas, headed by its Chairman Dante Francis Ang II, organized the PAFIOO, which serves as a tribute to the exemplary service, professionalism and dedication of honorees. The event also highlights their pivotal roles in advancing the welfare of Filipino communities abroad and fostering partnerships that contribute to the nation’s progress.
