00:00 This is a national approach towards the West Philippine Sea.

00:05 We represent the national task force of the West Philippine Sea led by the National Security Advisor, Secretary Eduardo Arno.

00:13 And like what D.D.G. said, this is a whole-of-nation approach that we're doing.

00:19 And for us at the National Security Council, it's important that we go down to the regions

00:26 because there's a battle of the narrow bridge, an information warfare

00:32 where there are statements coming from our government, statements coming from our military, statements coming from our ministers

00:44 and our fellow countrymen that are being misled or contradicted by statements coming from the Chinese Foreign Ministry,

00:53 the Chinese Coast Guard, and right now, even our fellow countrymen in Accra, our fellow countrymen in Ilocos Norte,

01:00 in the Phantasinan, in your region, while they're on YouTube, on TikTok,

01:06 they're passing the narrative that's coming from other countries, coming from the mainland.

01:12 And it is critical for government and it is critical for the nation to address those

01:18 because if during this time of fake news and disinformation, if our government doesn't address the wrong narratives

01:30 then maybe our fellow countrymen will be able to explain themselves.
