00:00But we do have a marquee battle on Thursday night.

00:03Top-ranked NFC North Detroit laying three and a half against the Green Bay Packers.

00:08This game played out a couple of weeks ago in Lambeau.

00:11Detroit got the 10-point win 24 to 14.

00:15All eyes will be on the Lions.

00:16We saw them struggle in the second half against Chicago,

00:19but something tells me this game could have fireworks in the air.

00:24Yeah, it should be a high-scoring game, right?

00:27You would think.

00:28Two explosive offenses, a lot of injuries on the defense side of the ball for Detroit.

00:32A little concerned about the Lions' offense not being able to convert that

00:35many touchdown opportunities in a Thanksgiving Day game against the Bears,

00:38but we'll just call that a blip on the radar screen.

00:40Should be a good one.

00:41I don't ever bet against the Lions.

00:43You want to give me the Lions laying less than a touchdown at home,

00:46albeit against a good Packers team?

00:49I get that, but still, it's a short week.

00:51I tell you, Joe, I heard a stat.

00:53I have to see this.

00:54There's certain stats and trends you read sometimes or hear,

00:58and you're just like, that can't be.

01:01There's got to be something missing.

01:03So the stat and trend I heard with this game yesterday was

01:07that this is only the fourth time in the history of the Packers-Lions.

01:13We're talking about two franchises that have been playing football for, what, 70 years?

01:19Twice, for the most part, twice a season.

01:22And this is only, Joe, the fourth time that both teams have been over 500?

01:28That can't be.

01:28That just can't be, can it?

01:30Well, think about it.

01:31Of course, they sucked for years, the Lions.

01:34Think about it.

01:34I know.

01:35I mean, I would have to think the mid-90s, that 93 team that had-

01:41Barry Sanders, Wayne Fonz, Brett Perriman, and that group, right, in 93, and then-

01:47Scott Mitchell.

01:49Was Mikowski there for Green Bay?

01:52Magic Man.

01:53Was he there in 93?

01:55He might have been.

01:56No, I don't think so.

01:59I think it was Favre.

02:01Yeah, Favre came in, right.

02:02Favre graduated in 89-90, and Magic Man was there for the 90 season.

02:08So it was Favre, probably.

02:10I mean, think about how it's been dominated, though, by Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers for years.

02:16But that only goes into how more amazing it is, because you've had a constant in Green

02:21Bay, for the most part, being over .500, right?

02:24So all you really needed was Detroit.

02:27I mean, I'm talking about 2-1.

02:29They didn't play earlier in the season when one team was 1-0 or 2-1.

02:33I mean, when you have an automatic winning team in Green Bay, for the most part, I mean,

02:38it just goes to show how bad Detroit has been, really.
