00:00Despite the rapid inflation, the inflation rate for rice decreased in November.

00:05According to the Philippine Statistics Authority, it was only 5.1% in November,

00:10compared to 9.6% in October.

00:13According to National Statistician and Civil Registrar General Clare Dennis Mapa,

00:18they can already see the decrease in the inflation rate

00:21because from January to November, the trend is already decreasing.

00:24Meanwhile, NEDA explained that

00:31helped to maintain the inflation rate within the government's target.
