How do you keep your packages safe from theft?

With so many people buying online over the Christmas period, theft of packages is on the rise, so we’re asking people if it’s something they’re concerned about, and how to best combat it.

00:00I'm in a block of flats so I'm quite lucky that it's enclosed like no one really goes

00:04past my door for example but we do have like a ring doorbell just in case you know but

00:09like oh sorry I'm very conscious like where I order from as well to make sure it's like

00:14somewhere legit.

00:15Right we've we sort of hacked onto that quite quickly because we've got a ring doorbell

00:19and like a side camera and stuff.

00:20Yeah we've never had anything else so we've been lucky but yeah I can imagine it's gonna

00:24happen a lot this year.

00:26It is a little bit but we've got cameras and we've got a porch so generally we've had a

00:32few things that have gone missing but actually I think that's more from the delivery people

00:38than the people actually taking up the doorstep.

00:40We've got quite a close neighbourhood so we're quite good in those but yeah it does seem

00:45to happen quite a lot but not to us.

00:48We've built like a little cat house and what we do is if we're not in we ask them to put

00:52it in the box so it's out of sight as well so we've got the cameras but also the parcels

00:57are put out of the way.
