00:09Anwar, have pleaded not guilty to a joint charge of criminal breach of trust at the

00:14Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court today.

00:18The duo is accused of making a payment of RM8 million from Fashion Valet to 30 Maple

00:23Sandrian Berhart without the Board of Directors' approval.

00:28The amount was allegedly taken from an untrusted investment fund under Kazana National Berhart

00:34and Promodala National Berhart.

00:38The charge was framed under Section 409 of the Penal Code which provides for imprisonment

00:44between 2 to 20 years, whipping and a fine upon conviction.

00:49Last month, it was reported that Kazana and PMB lost RM43.9 million after selling the

00:56stake in Fashion Valet for RM3.1 million.
