00:00The Department of Information and Communications Technology, or DICT, reported the country's

00:05significant climb in the 2024 United Nations E-Participation Index.

00:10In the latest EPI rankings, the Philippines rose 31 places, moving 80th in 2022 to 49th

00:17this year.

00:18Meanwhile, DICT Secretary Ivan John Uy said the achievement reflects the government's

00:23dedication to providing efficient, transparent and inclusive services by breaking down bureaucratic

00:29barriers for all Filipinos.
