We are back, baby. It is the Keane and Judah show. Before the break, we had an exciting
00:12
and thrilling and happy episode of three players who are on the way ado. And that was Jose
00:18
Sarr, Mario Lamina and Totti Gomez. So let's start the second half with a little bit of
00:22
positivity and that is Jorgen Stran Larsen. As they say, it doesn't take a genius to figure
00:28
out who was the man. On the brace, his first brace in Premier League football, well-deserved.
00:35
I thought it was his best game, not just because he scored two, but I thought he put himself
00:38
about. It wasn't really on the ball, but off the ball as well. He started to become that
00:43
menace that we thought he would. He showed his height, showed his strength, took his
00:47
goals very, very well. Albeit, I thought the second one, maybe he took a touch too many,
00:50
but still converted it. And, you know, hopefully this is an important part going forward where
00:57
you are taking the load off of Mateus Cunha slightly. And Jorgen Stran Larsen, who sneakily
01:05
scored quite a few goals this season. And if he can have a good second half to the season,
01:09
I think so. We're only a third of the way through, I guess, but he can score another
01:12
eight, nine, 10 goals, which is now on the end of the season. That could be invaluable
01:15
for this team.
01:16
Absolutely. Yeah. I think he was a handful all afternoon, wasn't he? He looked a threat
01:21
every time he got near the ball. And there was a few opportunities in that first half
01:23
where he did pick the ball up in the box to really close, tidy feats, looked after
01:29
the ball well, and exactly what you've said, off the ball, I thought was really impressive.
01:37
He just gave those defenders something to think about. And as the Wolves did work through
01:43
the thirds and create a couple of chances, I thought he was a proper handful. And not
01:48
just as someone who was taking up good positions, but someone who was battling physically with
01:52
them as well. So it was really good sign. I mean, the first goal was, was, was excellent
01:56
for a couple of reasons. It's, it's a great cross from Bellingard. First of all, unfortunately,
02:00
the only thing he did all afternoon, but it's a fantastic cross and Larson peels off Zabani
02:08
really nicely. First of all, the header's excellent. But what I like more about that
02:14
is that it is a headed goal. Now that seems very simple to say, but Wolves do need, I
02:19
think, a lot more threat in that department, probably across the board. It's not just
02:22
Larson's responsibility. I think defensively, they need to have more threat from set pieces,
02:29
but he's six foot four, Larson. He's a big lad and you have to take advantage of what
02:34
he offers. And to have peeled off, got to, I mean, the cross obviously is fantastic,
02:38
but to peel off and get that header and score in the way he did, I think was excellent.
02:42
The second goal, I do agree with you. I thought he'd taken a touch too many and he, fortunately,
02:47
he still managed to finish it and finished it pretty comfortably, actually. And one
02:51
thing I've noticed with Larson in the goals he has scored, when you've got him into those
02:57
positions, when he's bearing down on goal, at no point, is there any part of me that
03:03
isn't confident he's going to score. And I think that's a really good sign for a striker.
03:08
Now I think Wolves haven't got him in that position, maybe as much as they should have
03:12
done at certain times in certain games, but when they have done, there's been other games
03:17
that he's scored in where he's been set at 1v1 with a goalkeeper or bearing down on goal
03:21
with a couple of defenders there. And he's always, when he's been given those big opportunities,
03:30
finished them and finished them pretty comfortably. So I think that's a fantastic sign for a striker
03:35
coming to the league for the first time, signing in difficult circumstances and getting himself
03:41
some goals. I was really pleased for Larson because he has had a few iffy games as well.
03:45
So it was hopefully a big opportunity for him, a big moment for him, to build a bit
03:51
more confidence and go on to some very, very important fixtures to come up.
