00:13but probably the most informed player in the Premier League.

00:19And we talk about this guy

00:20because he is basically the man of the moment.

00:25He is the man who's producing goals,

00:27who's producing assists,

00:28who's getting points for Wolves,

00:30and he was sensational when Wolves needed him the most.

00:34And that is Brazilian international,

00:36Wolverhampton Wanderers forward,

00:38striker, and just all-round great guy, Mateus Cunha.

00:43There was no other way to start this show,

00:44was there, without Mateus Cunha?

00:47We spoke about it sort of in the game,

00:51and you're watching him

00:52and the impact he has on the way Wolves play,

00:54on the positions he takes up, some of the passes.

00:57I mean, obviously, in the assist for Joao Gomez,

00:59his goal is alongside his two strikes as well.

01:02And he's clearly in the form of his life.

01:03I mean, you look at the stats and the form he had.

01:06There's some good clubs, by the way,

01:07in Switzerland, in Germany, Atletico Madrid, in Spain.

01:12And he's nowhere near the numbers

01:15that he's putting up right now

01:16in the best league in the world,

01:18the most difficult league in the world.

01:22And he's hot as anything right now.

01:25There will be big clubs looking at him.

01:56the way in which he plays,

01:58when he's confident,

02:06He's been fantastic.

02:07The way he comes on to that third,

02:09his second, Wolves' third,

02:11just comes on to a small pass,

02:12which I'll go amazing,

02:12curls it top corner,

02:14just effortless and a fantastic player for Wolves.

02:17Apart from everything, they're doing well,

02:19alongside other players in this game in particular,

02:21but he is the talisman.

02:23And he's enjoying his football.

02:24I mean, look, when you're scoring goals,

02:25and of course you're going to be enjoying your football

02:27as a forward,

02:28you know, regardless of whether you're scoring,

02:32you're going to be enjoying it.

02:34You know, it's difficult when you're not scoring

02:35and your team's winning,

02:36because I feel like forwards,

02:38they need a little bit of confidence

02:40and they need to score goals.

02:41But he is, the way that he's creating chances,

02:43and like you say, that second goal,

02:45it's not even a thought, is it?

02:47At the back of mind,

02:47he knows where he's putting that ball.

02:49And we talk about Fulham's first goal,

02:51which was a great strike.

02:53That was the strike of the afternoon from Kunya.

02:55And he's, you know, he paid credit to Gary O'Neill.

02:59And you've got to give O'Neill credit as well,

03:01because he has transformed under O'Neill.

03:02You know, he's told him to get in the right places.

03:04He is a different strike than what we've seen previous.

03:06Yeah, he's playing in the right positions.

03:08I think the improvement in individuals

03:11under Gary O'Neill is evident,

03:12and there's none more so than Mateusz Kunya.

03:15We can sit here and reel off statistics,

03:18which, you know, easy for me to say,

03:20is obvious,

03:21because, you know, the goals are there in front of you.

03:23But the positions he takes up,

03:25the work he does off the ball,

03:26which is still improving,

03:28the relationship and understanding he has

03:31with the players around him.

03:32And that really was evident in his assist for Xao Gomez,

03:35which was Wolves' second goal,

03:37which really changed that game

03:38and changed that second half.

03:41It looks very simple to make that reverse pass.

03:44And I can promise you in the heat of the moment,

03:46that is not an easy pass to make.

03:48To have the eye to make that pass

03:50just to his left, almost out of vision,

03:53and make that reverse pass is a really intelligent play.

03:57And a player of his quality and his confidence

04:00is able to make those kind of plays.

04:02He's able to have the confidence

04:04to take a little bit of a risk.

04:05And obviously, it's a fantastic finish

04:07from Xao Gomez as well across the keeper.

04:08So look, it was a brilliant understanding

04:12as well as performance from him,

04:13a player of huge quality.
