00:06The country has been named world's leading dive destinations for the sixth consecutive year,

00:11while Manila and Boracay were recognized as world's leading city destination and world's

00:16leading luxury island destination respectively. And for the first time, the Department of Tourism

00:22bagged the world's leading tourist board award, marking another milestone in promoting the

00:26Philippines globally. Secretary Cristina Garcia Frasco credited the achievements

00:31to collaboration and government support, highlighting the DOT's focus on sustainable

00:36and inclusive tourism. These wins add to the Philippines' success at the WTAA Asia and

00:42Oceania Awards, where it earned eight regional titles. With accolades for destinations and

00:47campaigns, the Philippines cements its status as a top global travel destination.
