00:00Philippine Automotive Vehicle Assembler sold a record 467,252 vehicles in 2024, an 8.7%

00:10increase from 2023.

00:12This is based on the Jointer Court of Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines

00:17Incorporated or CAMPI and Truck Manufacturers Association or TMI.

00:22Passenger cars grew by 10.5% while commercial vehicles rose by 8.5%.

00:29Commercial vehicles made up 74% of total sales.

00:32Despite this growth, the industry missed its sales target of 468,300 to 500,000 units.

00:41In December 2024, sales hit 42,044 units, a 2.8% increase from November and a 7.4% share,

00:51followed by Mitsubishi at 19.1% and other brands like Ford, Nissan and Suzuki.
