00:00The Department of Agriculture will begin administering vaccines against the African

00:04Swine Fever ASF vaccines to promote more hogs in areas with no active cases of the disease.

00:10This includes red zones or areas that have not recorded any ASF cases for 40 days and pink zones

00:17which have no cases but are near infected areas. Under administrative order number 13,

00:22the vaccines will be administered to healthy pigs that are at least four weeks old. This

00:28program aims to increase participation in the department's controlled vaccination initiative.

00:33This is part of a study to assess the vaccine's effectiveness

00:36and the process required for its approval for commercial use.
