00:00Let's get to Tuesday NBA Cup action. Only five games, Joe, as we look around the association.

00:10And we have made it to certain stages in the NBA Cup where a lot of teams have played multiple

00:17group games. Of course, you will play four in total, five teams in each group, three

00:23groups in each conference to determine if you can advance to the quarterfinal and knock

00:29out round. Let's start in East Group C where the Bulls have won a game and lost the game

00:35in the Wizards as they have done in NBA Cup or just regular regular season games have

00:40lost a ton. In fact, both Chicago five point favorite in the nation's capital, the Bucks

00:46and the Heat, Miami, a slight home favorite in South Florida. That's our action in the

00:51Eastern Conference on NBA Cup Day Tuesday. Yeah, Miami is a small favorite. They're trying

00:59to get it back together. Keep an eye on who's playing and who's not playing for Milwaukee

01:05at this point. But Rozier looks like he is ready to to get going in this one here. And

01:12Giannis kind of uncontrollable, but BAM out of bio has done a pretty good job against

01:16them over the years. I like to eat at home and there is no way, Ben, we can back the

01:21Wizards. I don't care how many points they're getting in that spot against the Bulls. East

01:26Group B, Milwaukee has used the NBA Cup, if you will, to kind of turn around its season.

01:32They are a perfect two and oh, the Heat one and one. Milwaukee just in general has won

01:38four straight and six of its last seven. Now the three games in the Western Conference

01:44side of things on this NBA Cup Tuesday, the T-Wolves three and a half point home favorite

01:49against the Rockets. Minnesota has not been great in the NBA Cup, just one and one. The

01:54Rockets are two and oh in West Group A. And then we've got some action in West Group B,

02:01the Jazz, a slight home underdog against the Spurs. The best game of the night, late night

02:06in the Valley, the Suns three and a half point favorite against the Lakers, Kevin Durant

02:11and Bradley Beal set to make their return. Katie talked about the NBA Cup last year.

02:16Of course, the inaugural season of that IST and how much he enjoyed the games. We'll see

02:22if it means a lot to him tonight as he returns to the floor to welcome in Los Angeles.

02:27Yeah, I got to tell you, though, I think the the game of the night is going to be this

02:32Rockets Timberwolves game. The Rockets have quietly now become a top five, a legit top

02:39five defensive team. They're not running and gutting anymore here. They are actually

02:44picking their spots and they're doing a heck of a job of protecting the rim and doing what

02:50they need to do here in order just to win games. I don't think Minnesota has quite figured

02:54out what they're doing post cat and how they're going to do the rotations here. They're also

03:01not an extremely fast paced team at home, 16th and pace. Houston is 18th and pace on

03:07the road. Houston's five and two to the under five of those games only hitting 215 points

03:13or less. I like the under. I think that's going to be a defensive slog of a game.

03:18The Rockets this year, Joe Ranieri, an underdog just four times. They are three and one against

03:24the spread to outright victories. All three covers for Houston as the dog under a total

03:30Houston third best record in the Western Conference at twelve and six. The reigning Western Conference

03:37finalists, if you will, in Minnesota, have been a little bit slower to start. The T-Wolves

03:42right now, it is an even 500 at eight and eight. I like that look of under in that basketball

03:49game. KD makes his return tonight against the Lakers. Might the Suns cover at home.

03:54Phoenix has not been a great cover team this season.

03:56No, they have not. But I, you know, Ben, I like the fade, these superstars coming back

04:01over extended absences in their first game because the market over overreacts to their

04:06coming back. I would expect that the second game of Durant Beal is the one I'll be looking

04:12to back. Not this one. Phoenix, the worst cover team in the Western

04:16Conference five and eleven against the spread.
