Do you shop during Black Friday and do you feel the deals are as genuine as they seem? How do you decide if something is truly a bargain, or do you avoid the sales entirely?

00:00I don't really participate in Black Friday so much. If I did, maybe I'd look online.

00:05I don't often come into Leeds shopping. I have been handed a discount already by somebody in one shop.

00:12Black Friday deals. It becomes more than just Black Friday though, doesn't it?

00:16It becomes a week-long discount running into Christmas.

00:23I think most places inflate the prices a lot just so when Black Friday does come around,

00:29they can bring it down and say, oh, here's an actual real sale price,

00:33but it's just a normal price they were going to sell it for anyways.

00:36No, I just get what I need and I don't pay attention to what day it is.

00:41I just get what I need on whatever day I need it.

00:44Oh, I love Black Friday because you get, well, everything on discount.

00:47You don't have to pay the full price, you just get half the price, so it's quite good.

00:52As a student, you don't really get much of a student loan, so you have to be very, very thrifty with it.
