00:00Welcome to this absolutely electrifying panel, which is a first, I would say,

00:04where on the one hand we have the enabler for high-speed internet connectivity in the country,

00:10Honorable Minister Sindhya, and the enabled on the other side, who with their content are

00:16showcasing what good tech can do and incess, of course, you know, building millions of followers

00:22and educating them. So, welcome everybody to the panel. The West may lead the charge

00:29in some ways in terms of technology and media. I think India does and will for the future lead

00:39the charge in terms of creation of content. And that's why I said the role of the people on the

00:45dais today who are seated with us is very, very important in many ways, much more than even

00:51government. YouTube today has ninety-five percent consumption in India that is actually regional

00:58channels. But that's not a surprising thing in India. If you go back to India's history in terms

01:03of print media, electronic media, and you look at the number of subscribers for print or electronic,

01:11the vernacular numbers blow away the English numbers by miles. Take it back five or six

01:19years back, it was predominantly English, not even Hindi. Today it's ninety-five percent regional.

01:26When Instagram actually thought of, or YouTube thought of doing shorts, which was the country

01:32they started off, where was the first YouTube shorts? India. That's because they know this

01:37is the place where content will be consumed. That's not a simple decision to take. Look at

01:41the number of countries YouTube is in, but they started shorts here in India. And today, influencers

01:47or, you know, the word I use is content creators because influencers just about becomes a negative

01:53word nowadays. Content creators today can actually dominate the space more than Bollywood stars.

02:01Best part is that even after short-form content or long-form content,

02:06today, no matter which city you are from, they just wanted to learn.

02:11And entertainment was a part of it, which was there from the beginning.

02:15But now, like my audience, I try to explain in a very simple or easy way.

02:22Saiba, you know, increasingly AI is being used for scripting, script writing, editing videos,

02:28obviously, content creation. How are you using AI in your field?

02:34AI is not here to take your jobs. It's not here to replace humans. That is an extremely

02:40important part everyone should know. I'm a broadcaster with Starsports. And in cricket,

02:45I can only talk in Hindi and English because that is the two languages that I know.

02:49But we know how important vernacular and regional languages are. We use AI when I'm talking live

02:56like this on screen, you'll be hearing me in Tamil, in Kannada, in Uriya, in Punjabi. Yes,

03:01you can use AI to make your content piece a little better, to make your content piece

03:08foolproof. But the human touch can only come from you.

03:12When you're faced with new technology, there is always apprehension

03:18to adoption of that technology. Naman, you've taken very, very difficult concepts

03:23that are hard to break down and made them extremely simple.

03:30What's your algorithm to do that?

03:53I still remember I got stuck in some follower's number on Instagram.
