“Unless Hindutva fascism is opposed…” Pakistan at the UN

01:40This extraterritorial state terrorism is not limited to Pakistan.

01:47It has been extended to targeted killings of political opponents in Canada

01:54and attempted in the United States, and probably in other countries.

02:00The Washington Post reported that Prime Minister Modi, last week,

02:07told his cheering supporters, and I quote,

02:11Today, even India's enemies know this is Modi.

02:17This is the new India. This new India comes into your home and kills you, unquote.

02:26Madam President, I submit, this new India is a dangerous entity.

02:34It is a net provider of insecurity, not security.

02:38Its arrogance, belligerence, and sense of impunity

02:44is likely to trigger regional and global conflict.

02:49Madam President, when the forces of fascism and Nazism

02:56were appeased and accommodated a hundred years ago,

03:01it led to the Second World War.

03:04The Gaza genocide illustrates the consequences of offering impunity to extremist regimes.

03:14Unless Hindutva fascism is opposed,

03:19unless the sense of impunity of the BJP RSS is ended,

03:25unless the Indian Muslims are protected against genocide,

03:29and unless the Kashmiri dispute is peacefully solved,

03:35wider violence and conflict in South Asia is a real and present danger.

03:43And what happens in South Asia will not remain in South Asia.
