00:35and the institution people are losing complete faith in,

00:38what is the one word you would use to describe it?

00:41Marriage means keeping the faith

00:43and it's the institution both of us believe in

00:48and that's probably why we felt at home immediately.

00:52We were at home when we came together

00:54and we got married within a year of it.

00:56The cliche that I don't agree with is when people say that

00:59marriage not yet, I want to concentrate on my career.

01:04You can handle both.

01:05Everybody can handle both and you're here as an actor

01:08to enjoy your craft, put out good work, do kick-ass work

01:12and get that noticed.

01:14You will get noticed along the way.

01:16I don't think you need to remain single for that.

01:18What's really cool is about her,

01:20which is a bit of a contradiction,

01:23but it's nice about her.

01:25She's like the epitome of grace

01:27and she's very feminine and she's a lady

01:30and she gets treated like that.

01:32But at heart, she's just another, like she's a buddy.

01:36And you can ask any of my friends that I hang out with.

01:42She loves to get in there and have fun.

02:38but if I look at Shweta, Abhishek and Ma and Pa,

02:42it's like mom, dad, my brother and me.

02:46At home, it's so similar.

02:48Their interpersonal relationship, their everyday,

02:51the way they interact,

02:53the way they insist on at least a meal a day together

02:57if they're in town.

02:59That's what we did.

03:00We love spending time at home with each other.

03:02This is the way I always was at home.

03:04Probably that's why I didn't see any partying that much

03:06because when you're working, you're happy to be home.

03:08I really feel that Ma has, you know,

03:11just very easily moved into that space of being her confidante in the house.

03:16Where I'm pretty sure when a woman first comes into her husband's house,

03:19she feels a bit out of place, evidently and obviously.

03:23And I think the only person who can truly fill that void

03:28is her mother-in-law because she too knew what it was like to do that.

03:31And I really think Ma has done that.

03:33What do wives not know about husbands?

03:35They don't know and they should just really get to know is

03:38we do not like to ask for directions.
