00:00Itatayong Miralco Terra Solar Project is a big project that will help the livelihood of the people of Nueva Ecija.

00:07It is estimated that 10,000 individuals will be given a job if it is fully operational.

00:25will benefit from the Itatayong Miralco Terra Solar Project but also the whole province.

00:31This is what Nueva Ecija 4th District Representative Congressman Emerson Pascual

00:37announced at the ground-breaking ceremony for the so-called project in Penarandan, Nueva Ecija.

00:44Well, here in our district, not only in our district but also in Nueva Ecija,

00:48it is important to include in the map of history and in the whole world that this is the largest solar panel in the whole world.

00:56Aside from supplying electricity to the grid,

01:00it is expected that the Itatayong Solar Project will also provide a lot of jobs for the people

01:06from the construction to the full operation.

01:12In the message of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., he emphasized the importance of this project.

01:20We're all very excited at the ground-breaking ceremony for this very, very important project of Terra Solar.

01:28This is the largest solar power facility with battery.

01:37There are 3,500 in other places, 3,500 hectares, but they don't have batteries.

01:44This is the first in the whole world that we have not only solar, but 3,500 hectares,

01:54if not, there is still a battery for continuous supply of electricity to the grid.

02:02The President congratulates all the employees and companies that helped to realize the Meralco-Terra Solar Project.

02:11They will also continue to follow and help the government to make it a success.
