00:00DPWH Cordillera has also been alerted to the possible effects of Hurricane Christine.

00:06Clint East Van Totanes of PIA Cordillera has the details of the country's latest news.

00:13DPWH Cordillera has confirmed their readiness for any effects of Hurricane Christine.

00:19According to Engineer Ruth Duyon of the DPWH Car Maintenance Division,

00:24all of their district engineering offices are on standby

00:28and are ready to respond if there are landslides.

00:31Their rescue team is already in preposition.

00:35Even the committed equipment is also in preposition.

00:40This was ordered by the motorists to not travel during this difficult time.

00:46Avoid it if it's not an emergency or an important destination.

00:51Avoid traveling.

00:54Wait for orders from the authorities if there is a need for a preemptive evacuation.

01:00For now, Banaway Mayuyaw Alfonso Lista Isabela Road in Barangay Galunugon in Aguinaldo, Ifugao is closed

01:07due to landslides.

01:08Other national roads in Cordillera are passable,

01:12except for the Kenan Road, which is still under rehabilitation.

01:16The alternative route is Marcos Highway and Asin Nangalisan San Pascual La Union Boundary Road.

01:21We are now experiencing heavy rains,

01:24with light winds in Cordillera, still accompanied by thunderstorms.
