00:00The Department of Trade and Industry, or DTI, is closely monitoring the price of goods, especially now that the holiday season is approaching.

00:08According to DTI Director Cheryl Carbonell of the Consumer Protection and Advocacy Bureau,

00:15their price monitoring is regular to ensure compliance with the law and to monitor the businessmen.

00:20Meanwhile, DTI is encouraging consumers to join Consumer Welfare Month 2024.

00:27In addition to providing sufficient information and to be able to monitor the buyers,

00:31there will also be activities such as caravans where various products,

00:37environmental and educational activities, and many more can be found.

00:40Meanwhile, DTI continues to support buyers' complaints, such as damaged products,

00:46and unprofitable sales, which is now being supported by mediation.

00:52Let's know our rights as consumers. Let's be knowledgeable and watchful consumers.

00:58Let's take care of ourselves. Let's not buy uncertified products.
