00:00Industries in the Caraga region have expanded their knowledge regarding the TATAC-Pinoy Act

00:05so that they can be more globally competitive.

00:08This is the center of the news of Jennifer Peña of TIA Caraga.

00:13In a regional forum and industry consultation in Lungsod, Dambutuan,

00:17as well as the TATAC-Pinoy Act of the country,

00:19various sectors agreed on the creation of a plan and strategy

00:22so that the people of Caraga can be more competitive in various fields.

00:27The discussion of the bodies from the private and public institutions

00:31and the concerns and mutual resolutions

00:34to address the needs of the services and industry sectors became clear.

00:37According to Undersecretary Blisila Lantayona of the DTI Regional Operations Group,

00:42under the TATAC-Pinoy Act,

00:43it aims to further promote the production of high-value

00:46and innovative goods and services to industries

00:49so that the Filipinos can be more competitive domestically and globally,

00:52especially the people of Caraga.

01:00gave the TATAC-Pinoy Act a big help

01:01in implementing the I2FAME strategy of the region

01:04or fishery, agroforestry, mining, and ecotourism.

01:07The region shall shift from being a raw material supplier

01:12towards value-adding, creation, making, manufacturing

01:18as its primary industry.

01:20Together, we can create a thriving ecosystem

01:24where every sector and every individual

01:27has the chance to succeed.

01:30Caraganos hope that with the help of the TATAC-Pinoy Act,

01:33micro, small, and medium enterprises

01:36will have a better opportunity

01:38to export their products to the global market.
