Turismo delle Origini, a Matera oltre mille persone per Roots-in: cresce il segmento per gli Italiani residenti all'estero

(Adnkronos) - Si è conclusa a Matera Rooots-in, la borsa internazionale dedicata al Turismo delle origini. Questa terza edizione ha fatto registrare oltre 1000 presenze.

00:12Amatera Rutsin concluded the international stock market dedicated to the tourism of the origins,

00:17the segment of the sector aimed at the children and grandchildren of emigrants.

00:21In recent years, in fact, thanks also to the intuition of investing in a dedicated demonstration,

00:25there has been an extraordinary increase in arrivals from countries with a strong Italian presence,

00:30such as Argentina.

00:31It is thought that in the Basilica alone, the increase recorded by the South American country brings a plus 123%.

00:37The local territorial promotion agency, which with the region organizes Rutsin,

00:41in collaboration with Enit and with the sponsorship of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,

00:45has paved the way for a path that for this third edition has involved 13 regions,

00:50present every two days together with 155 sellers, 74 buyers and 70 relators from all over the world.

00:56This operation also takes on a double meaning, because in addition to favoring a qualified,

01:01experiential and seasonal tourism, it can attract the investments of those who return to their homeland,

01:06an additional opportunity especially for small villages still outside the already known tourist routes.

01:12It is one of the densest journeys of value and meaning, and the Basilicata wanted to present itself in this market,

01:19both because for the local people in the world, which are like all other regions of Italy, there are many,

01:25and because it is a journey that is attentive to the territories, to the internal areas, to the villages.

01:33More than a thousand people have participated in these two days at Rutsin,

01:36between forums, workshops and comparisons between operators, with some musical intermediate,

01:40such as the show of the comedian Dino Paradiso.

01:42For the occasion Matera and the Basilicata have confirmed a sharp vocation for welcome,

01:47increasingly oriented towards a qualified tourist offer also through its receptive structures.

01:52In the course of the last day, in addition, the last two outings of APT Basilicata,

01:57Antologia Lucana and Turismo delle Passioni have also been presented,

01:59the first intended for foreign students and the second dedicated to what is now considered the third tourism,

02:05after that of destinations and that of motivation.
