00:00Yeah, obviously last year the Eagles finished extremely poor in December and into January

00:09got bounced by the Bucks in the first round of the playoffs.

00:13This year, once again, out to a good start, 8-2 and atop the NFC East.

00:17Nick Sirianni does not expect the same thing to happen this year.

00:22You know, build on that success that you've had, but I think the other thing I see is

00:27just the hunger of everyone to get better, and that's all I can point out from this year's

00:35team.

00:36Forget last year's team.

00:37We've learned from those mistakes that we've made from last year, myself, the team, everybody.

00:43I really noticed this year's team that we're getting closer as a football team and just

00:47have that hunger to get better each day.

00:50They haven't finished the season yet, but I don't think they're going to emulate what

00:55they did last year.

00:56That was a disaster.

00:58I don't, yeah, I don't think they are either, and I know it's going to upset a lot of people

01:02in the Philadelphia area, but I think they're going to win 12, 13 games, win the NFC East,

01:10maybe win a game or two in the playoffs, and who knows, you know, it's going to be tough

01:14to beat the Lions, but I think they're going to have a good year, and he ain't going to

01:17go anywhere.

01:18They're going to finish strong, and he's going to be the coach next year, as much as nobody

01:22likes to hear it down there in that town.

01:24You sent me this, and I thought it was very interesting.

01:26Jalen Hurts and Patrick Mahomes, and obviously Patrick Mahomes is the, no doubt about it,

01:32the best ever, you know, this generation, post Brady, et cetera.

01:37Since 2022, last couple years, Hurts and Mahomes, basically same number of games, same number

01:43of wins, 33, almost identical completion percentage, identical passer rating.

01:49Mahomes has a little bit more yards.

01:51He's thrown 11 more picks than Hurts.

01:53Hurts has eight more touchdowns than him, obviously a lot of rushing, and Mahomes has

01:58turned the ball over more than Hurts.

02:01That's pretty good for Jalen Hurts, who clearly doesn't, you know, he gets talked about, but

02:05not the way that Patrick Mahomes and others get talked about.

02:08I mean, I'd say Mahomes is 95% of the media coverage, and I'd say Jalen Hurts gets 5%.

02:18He gets nothing.

02:19Nobody talks about Jalen Hurts ever, or that he's good, or that he matters, or that he

02:23has the identical stats as Mahomes.

02:27He gets no juice, no love whatsoever.

02:31That's all there is to it.

02:32And the Steelers have to play at the link, and I'm scared to death of that game.
