00:02 - Nick Sirianni is of course going to stay, Adam,

00:08 but both coordinators are going to change.

00:11 - This is so rare, a team that not only made the playoffs

00:14 that had 11 wins, I get it.

00:16 They had a tremendous fall off,

00:17 but wow, Brian Johnson was told he's not gonna be back

00:20 as his offense coordinator.

00:21 Sean DeSalle, the coordinator, was demoted

00:23 and reassigned in season, so he's not gonna be back.

00:26 And you just rarely see this.

00:27 Let's not forget, they were in the Super Bowl

00:29 the previous season, came close to winning it,

00:32 and now they're gonna have two coordinators.

00:33 And on offense, they're looking at a variety of guys,

00:38 some from the West Coast tree.

00:39 And Jeffrey Lurie, I know the owner is very involved

00:42 with offense in terms of what he wants to see.

00:45 And this is kind of what we saw over the years.

00:48 If you look at all the head coaches he's hired,

00:50 they've been from the offensive side of the football,

00:52 other than Ray Rhodes, which is many, many, many years ago,

00:55 coming over from the 49ers.

00:56 But it's always been about offense with Jeffrey

00:59 and when you look at it, he's gonna want someone

01:02 who could be dynamic.

01:03 And they do like this West Coast tree

01:05 because the Niners run more preset motion than anybody

01:09 and you see how successful they are.

01:11 The odds are on favorite to get the Super Bowl

01:13 out of the NFC, so keep an eye on that.

01:15 And defensive coordinator, it's gonna be interesting

01:17 because Sirianni is like this Vic Fangio defense

01:22 where you don't blitz a lot, you make the offense work it

01:26 and work it and work it, and then by the time they do,

01:28 your pass rush gets home.

01:30 Well, here's the problem, Mike,

01:31 the pass rush did not get home this season at all.

01:34 I remember they had 70 sacks a year

01:35 before setting a team record,

01:37 but it regressed significantly, the pass rush.

01:40 And I'm interested to see what they do there.

01:41 I know they have some interest in talking to Wink Martindale,

01:44 the former Giants D coordinator,

01:45 but Wink should have some options.

01:47 And that's typically, it's interesting,

01:50 the kind of defense they've been running

01:52 is completely different from what Wink runs,

01:55 which is blitz, blitz and more blitz,

01:57 but they know him very well, obviously,

01:58 because they've gone up against him twice a year

02:00 with the Giants.
