Old Dominion caught up with Billboard's Tetris Kelly on the Winners Walk at the CMA Awards 2024.

00:05You manifested it. Thank you so much.

00:10And I mean I talked about earlier you guys like retiring out of the category.

00:12Obviously there's not time for that yet, but like Brooks and Dunn just won

00:1532 years after their first win. Do you guys still want to be winning in 32 years?

00:19Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

00:20I mean at the least just like be part of the conversation 32 years from now would be amazing.

00:24Yeah. Yeah. At least 31.

00:29I want to be one of those, you know, montage videos that they put up, you know.

00:34And I got to talk about when you have won a category like this seven times,

00:36so that means seven trophies times four. Where do all these trophies go?

00:41Are they at somebody's family's house? Do you split them up?

00:43They're all they, you know, they're in all different places. So I have a couple

00:46different places I put them. I gave one to my parents. So yeah, we split them up.

00:51Yeah. I just bought a new house and I've got a room where they're all going to sit on display.

00:56Trophy room. That's real fancy there, bro.

00:58I know. He's got a Jeff Sprung museum.

01:03And does it ever feel different? Like does any of the wins feel more important than the others?

01:08I mean, it does when you break a record, I think, you know, so they're all special,

01:12but tonight felt a little bit extra special. There's a little bit of extra weight. So when

01:17you break a record and stamp your name in history, it's pretty cool.

01:20Yeah. And then what's cool is giving back to your fans as well. I know you guys got

01:23the bar opening next year, Odie. So tell me what fans can expect for that and how

01:27excited are you about it? We're so excited about it. Every time we

01:29go in there, we have a meeting, creative stuff. I get more and more excited to build something

01:34that kind of has our vibe and people can go hang out and, you know, get to know us a little bit.

01:39And it's a place that we would want to go hang out. So we're super excited about it.

01:43I got to know, what's the one thing you need in the bar? What was your non-negotiable?

01:46Oh, I'd say Guinness on tap. Guinness on tap. Let's make it happen, guys.
