00:04That was so fun. So tell me how it was for having billboard out on the road, man

00:07I thought that was pretty cool. I

00:10Thought it was the day after so when I got through that day, I was like, oh, yeah

00:13I was I wouldn't I didn't feel like I was dressed right. It'll look cool

00:16I was like man, I gotta be fresher than this on TV

00:19But it was great man. The whole crew that came out for you guys was super sweet

00:23And they worked hard man. They were there all day. So I had a good time doing it

00:27Thank you, man, and let's talk about being nominated tonight burn it down

00:29So, how was it that have that song be the one that has jumped off for you? It's pretty special

00:34I just can't even believe the life that song has had. I remember the day we wrote it

00:38And I felt like it was good and I felt like it could be a single but I never thought it'd be another number one

00:43And it was the name of our whole tour all year

00:46And then now it's nominated for song of the year at the CMA. So I don't know. I don't even have to win, man

00:52I'm just glad to be here

00:53Talk about being glad to be here what you're doing tonight performing with Miranda Lambert honoring George straight like that's amazing

00:58So what can we expect on stage and how does it feel to do that?

01:00Hopefully you expect all the right words and for the singing to sound good. I'll be a little nervous, but

01:06I'm just excited man. I'm honored to do it. He's the king of country music. He's a Texas guy

01:11He's the first music I can remember falling in love with as a very very little kid and then singing with bona fide superstar

01:23Around the corner. Do you listen to Christmas music? And if so, what's the song that gets you going?

01:26I'm all about Christmas music George has some great Christmas songs. Randy Travis has great Christmas songs. I like some Beatles Christmas songs

01:33Okay, I get super super into Christmas music. I mean, I'm I will rock it for 30 straight days

01:39I don't even think I knew Beatles had Christmas songs. So now I'm gonna go listen to that, you know

01:42I don't know if it's actually technically a Christmas song

01:45But it's a it talks about Christmas and it feels really good in Christmas time. Go check it out
