00:00But let's take a look also at the MVP, basically, for the rookies, right?

00:06The rookie of the year, Jaden Daniels, Bo Nix, the frontrunners, with Jaden Daniels a heavy

00:12favorite at a minus 550, but Bo Nix has been playing some sensational football, closing

00:18that gap.

00:19Let's start with the two top guys here, Daniels and Nix, your outlook between these two to

00:23win this award.

00:26I think from where we stand right now, Daniels is actually losing a bit of stock and Bo Nix

00:31is trending in the right direction.

00:32If the Broncos can go on to win the next three and get themselves into the playoff dance,

00:38I think Bo Nix is certainly going to be a big factor and a much shorter price than what

00:42we're getting at plus 400.

00:43I think this market is a little reflective of the big storyline from early in the season.

00:49Daniels has looked fantastic and not to take anything away from the Commander's Star quarterback,

00:54but I think, you know, the odds makers sort of projecting from what we saw a little earlier

00:58in the year for Bo Nix, he really hasn't done anything wrong.

01:02It's just been a matter of trying to build up a little confidence.

01:04If you look at the quarterbacks and the systems that they've both gone into, there is no questions

01:09asked that Bo Nix had a very, very tough, you know, sort of incline in trying to learn

01:15that offense there for Sean Payton.

01:16So I think Bo Nix is thriving.

01:18He looks better and better by the week.

01:20And what's going to go against the commanders here in Daniels is he's still playing with

01:24that lingering injury.

01:25You know, it's a vigorous season.

01:27He's copping a couple of more knocks, putting his body on the line there.

01:31So if he were to miss one game, I think Bo Nix would absolutely leapfrog Daniels in this

01:36market.

01:37So the price for me is Bo off the back of the Denver Broncos, trying to keep that momentum

01:42going into the back half of the year.

01:43And you look at the numbers, 19 total tutties, 14 for Daniels, there's about 50 yards to

01:49separate him in the passing game.

01:51And what about Bo Nix?

01:52He's got a receiving touchdown as well, Donny.

01:54Does that count?

01:55Yeah, look, man, adds up to it.

01:58Maybe that's the Heisman moment that you need that sort of sticks out and throws you out.

02:02Like that's the video that the Denver Broncos will send out and say, this is the reason

02:05why we actually get a guy that's going to be an offensive rookie of the year because

02:09he catches touchdown as well as throwing them here.

02:11Now, we do have some interesting market movement over the past couple of weeks, as we stated

02:15here.

02:16And maybe that does change.

02:17We do have Jaden Daniels at that minus 550 price.

02:19Do you remember when we were starting this season saying, OK, who's going to win this?

02:23Well, it's going to be Caleb Williams.

02:25Everybody knows this.

02:26Number one overall pick.

02:27Chicago Bears with all the talent around them.

02:29Yes, we know Jaden Daniels is decent, and we'll see if Bo Nix can even be the starting

02:32quarterback.

02:33Caleb Williams today, Dubsy, is at a 50 to 1 price to win NFL Offensive Rookie of the

02:38Year.

02:39Is there any way that he can make some headway and sort of climb back up into respectability

02:44in this award number?

02:46No, pass for me, Donnie.

02:48You know, it was not big on Caleb's, you know, chances or stock coming into this season.

02:53They put every single weapon around him.

02:56If, you know, Bo Nix or Jaden Daniels had the same kind of foundation and pieces that

03:01Caleb's had to work with here early in the year, they'd be sitting even better and even

03:05prettier in this market.

03:06For King Caleb Williams, I mean, really not a shock, Donnie.

03:10You know, for the Bears, they haven't figured it out.

03:12His play was not fantastic coming out of USC for that final season.

03:16You look at his game, and I always had hesitations to how it would translate to the pros.

03:21Now, not to say that he's going to be a bust or it's, you know, one and done, but he's

03:25going to make some adjustments.

03:26He's going to make smarter decisions.

03:28You cannot just play off the cuff or try and, you know, get out of the pocket and put yourself

03:32under pressure.

03:33Some of the passes have been head scratches at times.

03:36So I think, you know, the other two young quarterbacks have looked very professional.

03:41Caleb Williams, he's still got that college football style of play and it just hasn't

03:44translated well so far.
