00:25I think that it's super overrated

00:28that we've moved Jefferson so far down in ADP

00:31and are so concerned with his numbers.

00:34When in the National Football League,

00:36if you have this kind of talent,

00:37and I think you and I would probably agree

00:39that Jefferson is as or more talented

00:41than any receiver in the NFL.

00:44It hasn't been a significant adjustment

00:46down to wide receiver three, I get that.

00:48But I'm not necessarily worried

00:50about the quarterback situation in Minnesota.

00:53Because when you have this kind of talent,

00:56I do think you get the numbers.

00:58Now, look, is it gonna be a 2000 yard season for him

01:00with whoever starts a quarterback, George?

01:02You tell me, who do you think the starting quarterback

01:04is gonna be for Minnesota?

01:05I'm not sure that it's gonna be McCarthy.

01:07I honestly, I don't know.

01:08They haven't really given any indication yet.

01:10I guess we'll get one this week

01:12when they put out the depth chart.

01:13I believe that comes out, George,

01:15am I right about that Monday or Tuesday?

01:17They start the preseason.

01:19Last year, he was hurt a lot.

01:20100 targets, 68 receptions, over 1000 yards,

01:24five touchdowns, it was a down year.

01:27But it was a down year because he was out.

01:27If he's healthy, I think this is a bye for me on Jefferson.

01:34I think we all want JJ, all right?

01:36And once again, we're all splitting hairs here.

01:38I'll take JJ on my team, on every team.

01:40And I'm not gonna complain.

01:41You asked me who I think starts for Minnesota.

01:44I think it's going to be Sam Donald for a couple of games.

01:47That would be my guess.

01:48There you have a nice early bye week in week six.

01:51So if I'm looking for JJ,

01:52it's probably week seven at home versus Detroit.

01:55That's just a guess.

01:56I mean, they get a nice week one at the Giants.

01:59We know with Giants, secondary defense,

02:01not the greatest here.

02:02Then you play Santa Fe in week two.

02:04So I think you might want to avoid JJ there.

02:06Houston, Green Bay, Jets,

02:07that's a little rough stretch there.

02:09And by sitting in for the first month,

02:11you can avoid that stretch.

02:12So that would be my guess here,

02:13that JJ starts on week seven.

02:15But once again, he may look great in camp,

02:17great in preseason, where he starts great.

02:18We go into Oregon, it could be worse.

02:19Or maybe it's in the middle there.

02:21Or maybe they're one and three, like, we're done.

02:22We can't keep going with Sam.

02:25But Santa has a decent backup here.

02:26So I'm not really all that worried about Jefferson.

02:29Would I take him over the other guys?

02:30Probably not.

02:32Is he a first round pick?

02:33Yeah, he's still a first round pick.

02:35So I'm not all that, he'll be great.

02:37Yeah, and on top of it,

02:39let's be real with Darnold too.

02:40I mean, wherever he's gone recently,

02:42it seems like he's come out hot

02:44for the team that he started for.

02:45And then maybe it's video or film

02:48and they sort of figure him out a little bit

02:50and then he goes the other way.

02:51But he could start off hot

02:53if Minnesota decides to start him.

02:55And we just have not gotten any indication.

02:57I mean, you can read every beat reporter

02:59who's covered the Vikings.

03:00Nobody knows as of yet,

03:01who's gonna start a quarterback.

03:03Jefferson's total, 1,300 and a half over on FanDuel.

03:06I'll go over this at minus 112.

03:09I just think that a healthy Jefferson,

03:12now again, he may not be, and we don't know,

03:14but I think he flies over this number playing,

03:16let's say 16 out of the 17 games.

03:19I'll probably stay away from, I won't go under,

03:21but I'll probably stay away from this.

03:24They're a little bit more balanced team.

03:26All right.

03:26I think it's gonna be a good offensive team.

03:28Hawkinson, they say, looks good.

03:29He can be back earlier than we thought here.

03:30They got Addison.

03:31Remember, they picked up Aaron Jones.

03:33They can run the football.

03:34And I think they will, by the way.

03:36Right now, to sort of protect Donald and McCarthy

03:39for that matter here.

03:40So I'll probably stay away from this number

03:42as far as him going over.

03:43I'm not betting any under, I'm just staying away.
