Explosion rocks Orion Township condo complex

Crews are investigating a possible gas explosion and large fire in Lake Orion Tuesday evening that sent two people to the hospital with critical injuries.

00:00So this is the scene here at Keatington Condos in Lake Orion Township right now.

00:08It's about 7 o'clock in the evening on a Tuesday and we're not really sure what happened.

00:16We heard there was an explosion of some sort.

00:20However, I do smell fumes here.

00:24As you can see, very active scene at the moment.

00:28I don't even know how many fire trucks I've seen so far.

00:32But this is obviously a very devastating situation.

00:39We don't know if anyone died here.

00:43We don't have many details, but we're about to talk to the township supervisor at the moment

00:49to get any information that we can.

00:53We also talked to a neighbor who said they lived right next door to where an explosion allegedly happened.

00:59We don't know what caused it at this point.

01:03We don't know how this all unfolded.

01:05We just know it happened around 6.30 Tuesday evening.
