00:00We are here with the Backstreet Boys, there are two of them.

00:04My favorites, well my favorites are here and that's why all that matters.

00:10Well what is the key to, you know, this long time success?

00:14It's very rare to have what you guys have, that you're still having fun together,

00:18making music, going on stage, what's the key?

00:21Therapy, no. We did it once, we actually did that once, years ago.

00:26It is crucial.

00:27We only had to do a day or two of it.

00:28We're good, we're all set. It's communication.

00:31I think communication has been our key of keeping us tight as a unit.

00:35Also, hopefully it's a testament of music that we've been constantly trying to push the envelope,

00:40every album to get better, and of course it's our dedicated fans.

00:44I mean they honestly drive us, they really keep us kind of reinvigorating ourselves

00:51and just kind of reliving, you know, 31 years of just awesome, awesome times.

00:56Look, we've had ups and downs but, you know, the future's bright for us.

00:59We have so many amazing things planned.

01:01It's true, I mean you guys are non-stop and obviously a lot of shows right now

01:06are delving into the magic of boy bands.

01:08What do you think it is about boy bands, in your own words, that have stood the test of time,

01:12like no matter what decade, you know?

01:14I mean we're the only ones left.

01:16But, you know, I'm just saying.

01:19No, I mean look, again, each of these groups that have come, whether they're back or they're gone,

01:25they've all had great, you know, fans, great music.

01:30To be honest, I would say the ones that have really stood the test of time,

01:34hats off to Mr. Max Martin because he is really the genie in the bottle for not just boy bands

01:40but just music.

01:41Good music, yeah.

01:42In the last 20 years, you look at any artist, probably 90% of the artists here

01:47have worked with Max Martin.

01:48It's true.

01:49So, I mean, he is, and he's, you know, family.

01:51He's one of our friends.

01:52Takes a team.

01:53Takes a whole team.

01:54I love it.

01:55And lastly, who has been you guys' number one artist in 2024?

02:01Wow.

02:02Hmm.

02:03Well, my, not that I wasn't already a Swiftie, but my daughters have pushed me over the edge.

02:10I feel like I've been hearing that a lot.

02:11Like, so now I have the bracelets, I have Taylor Swift pajamas.

02:14Yeah, I've got the whole thing going on.

02:17But you know what?

02:18There's so many great new artists.

02:21You know, I was a big, big fan of, like, Jungkook.

02:24Sabrina Carpenter.

02:25Sabrina is fantastic.

02:27I mean, there's so many great new young artists.

02:30And even artists like us that have just kept on going.

02:33Coldplay coming back out with a new album.

02:35It's true.

02:36It's going to be good.

02:37I mean, pop is, like, here to stay.

02:38I love it.

02:39It's right.

02:40It ain't going nowhere.

02:41It never goes.

02:42I love it.
