00:04 - I'm so excited, I don't know what to expect.

00:06 This is so cool, this is so fun.

00:08 And what a year for you.

00:09 How has it been being able to kind of

00:12 grow into your success as an artist?

00:14 - Oh gosh, I mean it's really exciting

00:16 getting to release things and just,

00:18 I don't know, getting to explore music

00:20 versus acting is really exciting.

00:21 It's a whole different world, I love this.

00:23 - I mean in what ways do you think,

00:25 I mean 'cause both are quite vulnerable.

00:27 How do you tap into that vulnerability

00:29 for acting and for songwriting and singing?

00:31 - Well I think that the thing that's really cool

00:33 about songwriting is that it feels so much more personal

00:35 because I mean I'm getting to tell

00:37 all of my very, very personal stories

00:39 and all of that versus with acting

00:41 I'm pretending to be somebody else

00:43 and telling other people's stories all the time

00:44 but now it's like bearing my soul to the whole world.

00:47 - I mean both are, but you're doing an incredible job.
