Wales sees the first snow of winter

We speak to people in Newport who’ve experienced the first snow this winter, and one gentleman who experienced his first snow ever.

00:20Yes, I like it. I like it too much. It's very nice.

00:23I took a lot of video in the morning. It's okay. Nice weather.

00:29And everything decorated for the first Christmas in the UK.

00:33So my wife is three years right now.

00:36It's okay, I'm enjoying this.

00:39It wasn't really snowing when I first came to the house, but on the bus to college,

00:42she was like, we passed through a bunch of snow and it felt like Christmas.

00:45That's exactly my... I loved it.

00:47Yeah.

00:48It's like Christmas, yeah.

00:49I had a lift to college and getting out of the car attacked me like full on.

00:54I had to run to go in the building.

00:57That's the last time I've seen snow.

00:59Two years ago, I think.

01:06It's nice. Cold, very cold.

01:08I'm going to keep on top of my heating bill, I think.

01:22I especially like the old 80s, 90s films where it's always snowing in December.

01:26I'm not that blessed. Some people hate it.

01:40Yeah, we're all freezing.

01:46Last time it was snowing, I was in Prague, so I missed it.

01:51We've had just normal weather the last four or five months,

01:54just very monotonous kind of grey skies.

01:57So it was lovely to see a bit of a blizzard this morning.
