Western technology has been found in Russian drones used to attack Ukraine, fuelling calls from Kyiv to tighten sanctions and export controls on Moscow.

00:22The war in Ukraine is an absolute drone war.

00:25I think we've seen that over the last two and a half years.

00:30I think it's important to differentiate that drones are not drones.

00:36Some talk about quadcopters, some talk about, well, almost airplanes.

00:42Our drones at Quantum Systems are reconnaissance drones, I would say, of the middle class.

00:48Despite sanctions, Western-made components are commonly found in Russian drones.

00:54These parts, initially designed for non-military users, are adapted for military drones, allowing

00:59Russia to continue producing advanced UAVs.

01:20production are also perpetrators of daily war crimes in Ukraine.
